Sarah Jane Alice Trotter (Aunty Jean) Jean was the 8th child and 6th daughter of the Alex and Annie Trotter family. She was born on the 3.12.1895 and died on 11.6.1983 aged 87. Jean married Harold George Owens on the 6.7.1920 at the Family Residence, Sandspit Road, just three weeks before her father died. Jean was 24yrs old and Harold 26. Witnesses to the wedding were Walter Culling and Ivy Trotter. The officiating Presbyteran Minister was Ernest Mason Poole. They had 2 children, John and Betty. |
