Louis Crawshaw

Uncle Lou the first child of Reuben and Rosaline Crawshaw  was born on the 24.3.1903.  His Father, Reuben, worked for  the N Z Railways as a Guard and was transfered around various towns of the North Island and so Louis was educated at a number of schools.  

Louis married Joyce Litten on the 4.5.1948 after he'd moved to Kaiwaka about 1946 as a sharemilker just down the road from Joyce's family.  After their marriage  they moved to their own farm  at Te Arai then to the farm at Ararua.  Louis retired to Kaiwaka because of bad health in 1958. Their children are:  Walter, Raymond and Marion.

Louis died on the 1.3.1968.
